New Head Appointed to Odesa Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office

The head of the Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Region, Andriy Garasymchuk, introduced the new head of the Odesa Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office, Nazar Galuzinsky, to the staff of the Odesa Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office.

This was reported by the press service of the special prosecutor's office.

During the presentation, Andriy Garasymchuk outlined the key priorities of the prosecutor's office under martial law and emphasized the tasks that require special focus and responsibility of prosecutors. He emphasized that Nazar Galuzinsky has the appropriate professional experience and managerial qualities necessary to effectively organize the work and perform the functions and tasks assigned to the prosecutor 's office.

Nazar Galuzinsky was born in 1993. He graduated from the Odesa National Law Academy. He has been working in the prosecutor's office since 2015. Prior to his appointment, he worked as Deputy Head of the Department for Organization of Procedural Management of Pre-trial Investigation and Supervision over Compliance with Laws in the Course of Operational Investigative Activities of the Department for Organization of Procedural Management and Supervision over Compliance with Laws in the Execution of Court Decisions and in the Course of Operational Investigative Activities of the Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Region.

Earlier, Acting Odesa Mayor Ihor Koval appointed Olena Moskal to the position of Head of the Corruption Prevention Department of the Odesa City Council. Olena Moskalenko took up the position without competitive selection on February 2. Prior to that, she worked as a chief state inspector at the State Tax Service of Odesa Oblast. Earlier, the acting mayor of Odesa, Ihor Koval, dismissed Serhiy Gurov from the position of head of the Department for Prevention of Corruption of Odesa City Council.
