Utilities have provided more than half a million hryvnias to restore water supply in Mykolaiv. In total, the estimated cost of the water supply reconstruction project is over UAH 100 million.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Dream ecosystem.

The project was initiated by the Mykolaivvodokanal utility company.

It is planned to reconstruct a 1000 mm steel water pipe along Myru Avenue from Pivdenna Street to Pohranichna Street in Mykolaiv. According to the project description, the deterioration of the existing steel pipes is due to their long service life. Frequent breakouts lead to significant losses of drinking water transported through the pipes.
