Mykolaivvodokanal plans to invest 19 million to restore asphalt after repairs

Mykolayivvodokanal announces the procurement of road surface restoration services. The company is looking for a contractor to carry out landscaping works in the areas of repairs on the city's networks. The contractor's task will include preparing the base (leveling and underlying layers), as well as laying a new asphalt concrete layer on damaged road sections.

This is according to the Prozorro public procurement system.

The expected cost of the planned services is UAH 19 million 238 thousand 905. According to the terms of the tender, bids from potential participants will be accepted until March 24 inclusive, and the auction is scheduled for March 25.

The winning bidder will have to perform a full range of works, including the arrangement of underlying and leveling layers of the base, as well as the laying of new asphalt concrete. The deadline for restoring asphalt on the roadway and in-block passages is June 30, 2026.

Earlier, the Department of Urban Development announced a procurement for the final stage of restoration of Lyceum No. 2, which was destroyed by enemy shelling. The expected cost of the work is UAH 264.9 million, and the reconstruction is expected to be completed by the end of 2027.

The actual allocation of funds from the state budget is expected only in 2026-2027 as part of the financing of the objects of the Fund for Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. These funds will be used to partially restore the facades, interior decoration, install electrical equipment, and install an elevator for people with disabilities.
