Denmark is allocating $375 million for Ukraine's recovery. Of this amount, about 60%, or approximately $225 million, will be used to implement projects in Mykolaiv and the region.

This was reported by the Mykolaiv City Council.

This large-scale assistance program covers a wide range of areas. The funds will be used to restore critical infrastructure, provide humanitarian aid, support veterans and internally displaced persons, and develop business. In addition, the funding will be used for the 'green' transition in energy and transportation, as well as for the continuation of reforms.

Denmark has launched this initiative as part of its largest national aid program to another country, which underscores its commitment to supporting Ukraine in its reconstruction. As reported, Denmark has launched its largest national aid program for Ukraine with a total budget of DKK 2.8 billion (EUR 375 million).

As a reminder, Denmark has launched the second stage of construction of the Tiligul wind farm in Mykolaiv region. Vestas is preparing to ship the first equipment for the second phase of the Tiligul wind farm, which will become the largest wind power facility in Ukraine. According to the press service, this is a historic project that is already being called the largest private investment in the Ukrainian energy sector.

The equipment was manufactured at Vestas' Danish plant in Ringkjæbing. Its transportation was made possible thanks to the financial support of the Danish Export-Import Fund. The total investment in the project amounts to EUR 450 million, of which 370 million is loan financing raised by DTEK.

Active construction of the second stage of Tiligul wind farm will start in the fall of 2025 and will last until the end of 2026. Once completed, the wind farm will be able to supply clean electricity to about 900,000 households. In January 2025, Ukrainian company DTEK signed an agreement with Denmark's Vestas to build the second phase of the Tiligul wind farm in Mykolaiv region.
