Mykolaiv received power supplies for orphanages and water points. In total, the aid amounted to more than one million hryvnias.

At a meeting of the executive committee of the Mykolaiv City Council, the recipients of the aid were identified.

Mykolaiv City Territorial Community received humanitarian aid as part of the Solar Resilience Kits for Ukraine project.

As part of this assistance, the city received solar panels, batteries, and inverters, which should improve the energy situation in the region, especially in the face of blackouts.

In total, 30 lithium batteries, 120 monocrystalline solar panels and 31 solar inverters were donated for the needs of the city community.

The assistance was provided by the Department of Energy, Energy Saving and Innovative Technologies and the Executive Committee of the City Council. The total value of the humanitarian aid is over UAH 1 million. The Department will use the aid at water points and the Executive Committee will use it in family-type orphanages.

According to the decision, this initiative is an important step towards ensuring energy sustainability and developing renewable energy sources in the city.

At the last meeting of the executive committee, the charitable assistance provider was determined to be the NGO "Youth of Ukraine". As part of the community support, the city received modern water distribution points, including a well with a submersible pump and a water treatment system, which will be placed at five addresses in the city.

Recently, international partners donated two generators to the city's educational institutions, which will ensure stable operation of schools during power outages. Each generator is capable of fully supplying electricity to large educational institutions, including shelters and canteens. In addition, the local government of Mykolaiv City Council received laptops worth half a million hryvnias from the NGO.
