Mykolaiv Receives 500K in Laptops for Local Authorities' Aid

Mykolaiv local authorities have received laptops worth half a million hryvnias from a non-governmental organization.

According to the new decision, the list of humanitarian aid has been updated to include a batch of HP laptops to be distributed among various bodies and enterprises of the Mykolaiv City Council.

The aid came from the NGO Agency of Effective Solutions. The changes were made in response to a request from the municipal property department of the city council and after reviewing an extract from the minutes of the meeting of the city headquarters for humanitarian and charitable assistance.

A total of 27 laptops have been received and will be handed over to the executive committee, municipal property department, housing and communal services department, education department, as well as to Mykolaiv Parks and Zavodskyi district administration.

According to the new amendments, the total value of the humanitarian aid is over UAH 500 thousand.

Thus, the Executive Committee will receive 27 laptops worth UAH 376,326, the Communal Property Department will receive 1 laptop worth UAH 13,938, the Housing and Utilities Department will receive 5 laptops worth UAH 69,690, the Education Department will receive 4 laptops worth UAH 55,752, Mykolaiv Parks will receive 2 laptops worth UAH 27,876 and the Zavodsky District Administration will receive 1 laptop worth UAH 13,938.

According to the decision, these changes will help improve the conditions for the effective work of municipal institutions and ensure the proper functioning of the Mykolaiv community in the face of constant challenges.

Germany also continues to support Mykolaiv: The city has received energyassistance from its partners in Leer. In particular, another educational institution has been supplied with a powerful generator to help ensure its uninterrupted operation. In addition, modern generators were handed over to the Mostiv local fire brigade. This will allow the rescuers to work uninterruptedly even during power outages.

In total, in 2024, Mykolaiv received UAH 3.6 billion in humanitarian and technical assistance from international partners. This support helps to improve the city's infrastructure and ensure the stable operation of key systems in difficult conditions.
