Mykolaiv has decided to install solar power plants on the roofs of heating stations. This will provide an additional source of clean energy for the needs of local infrastructure.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Dream ecosystem.

It is planned to install solar power plants with a capacity of 15 kW each on the roofs of the central heating stations of Mykolaivoblteploenergo. A total of 34 solar stations will be installed.

The project aims to increase energy efficiency and reduce dependence on traditional energy sources by installing solar power plants (SPPs) on the roofs of central heating plants (CHPs).

The estimated budget of the project is UAH 47 million 600 thousand.

The SPPs will consist of solar panels, inverters, a monitoring system, and other auxiliary components. The solar panels will be installed on the roofs of the district heating plants in such a way as to maximize solar energy capture throughout the day.

Stages of project implementation:

Each station will have a nominal capacity of 15 kW, which will allow generating electricity to partially meet the needs of the district heating plant and transfer the surplus to the general grid. The use of roof space for the panels allows for efficient use of available space without the need for additional land.

The project currently requires funding.

Also, the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Mykolaiv region has announced an auction for the repair of a highway. More than UAH 400 million is planned to be spent from the budget. It is planned to overhaul the transport facility at km 144+360 of the public road of national importance P-55 Odesa - Voznesensk - Novyi Buh, Mykolaiv region. The tender states that additional work is required.

In addition, an auction was announced in Mykolaiv to repair the facade of the institute, which was damaged by enemy shelling. More than UAH 4 million is planned to be spent from the budget. It is planned to overhaul the central facade of the three-story Laboratory Building No. 3 with the replacement of windows of the Institute of Pulse Processes and Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

More than UAH 138 million was allocated to repair one of the buildings of the oncology dispensary. The repairs began in 2019, and in 2021, it was emphasized that the facility was 85% complete. The contract was signed with Antares-BUD LLC. The company is currently involved in criminal proceedings for embezzlement of budget funds during the overhaul of the roof of the Luparivska school in 2019.
