Mykolaiv plans to dismantle temporary structures in several districts

A meeting of the executive committee of the city council will be held in Mykolaiv to consider more than 50 issues related to transportation, housing and communal services, social protection and dismantling of temporary structures.

The meeting will be held on April 8 at 10:00 a.m., the press service of Mykolaiv City Council reports.

The key topics on the agenda include the organization of passenger transportation on bus route 49 "Shyroka Balka - Mykolaiv-Freight Station", changes to the city bus route network, and adjustments to traffic management on certain streets of the city.

The members of the executive committee will also consider dismantling temporary structures in various districts of Mykolaiv, including Halyna Petrova, Rabocha, Sadova, Lazurna streets and Heroiv Ukrayiny Avenue.

Separate issues will be discussed, including assistance to internally displaced persons, financial aid, compensation to veterans for sanatorium treatment and allocation of materials from the city's reserve.

In addition, the agenda includes issues related to the dismantling of facilities damaged or destroyed as a result of Russian aggression, as well as humanitarian aid.

As a reminder, the Executive Committee of Mykolaiv City Council has approved changes to the community budget for 2026.

According to the updated figures, total budget expenditures amount to over UAH 6.9 billion. Of this amount, about UAH 5.4 billion is allocated to the general fund, which covers salaries for public sector employees, utility bills, and support for the city's vital functions. Almost UAH 1.5 billion more is provided for in the special fund, which is used for development and capital expenditures.

He also raised public transportation fares.

Mykolaiv will receive 40 tramcars from the Swedish city of Gothenburg. These are M29 trams, which were previously used in the Swedish urban transportation system.
