Mykolaiv Olympic Sports School is to be renovated at a cost of 115 million

Mykolaiv has decided to renovate its Olympic sports school. It is planned to spend 115 million hryvnias for this purpose.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Dream ecosystem.

The project was initiated by the Mykolaiv City Council, with the Construction Department as the executor and administrator of the funds.

It is planned to overhaul the building of the Nadiia Sports Complex (Sports School No. 4). The aim of the project is to overhaul the sports school building, including repair of the heating system and thermal sanitation. It also includes landscaping.

According to the project description, the specialized children's and youth sports school of the Olympic reserve is a Ukrainian type of sports school that provides training exclusively in Olympic sports. The main goal is to train young athletes to participate in high-level competitions, including the Olympics.

The project budget is UAH 115 million. Of this amount, UAH 109 million 700 thousand will be spent on capital expenditures and UAH 5 million 300 thousand on operating expenses.

To date, 26.8% of the required project amount has been funded, which is UAH 30 million from the local budget of Mykolaiv.

The duration of the project is 6 months.

The designer is Ihor Liubenko, who will also perform field supervision. UAH 117,342 is planned for design, and UAH 349,366 for author's supervision.

According to the YouControl online analytical system, Ihor Liubenko was registered as a sole proprietor in 2015. He earned 25 million 608 thousand 110 hryvnias from public tenders. He earned the most from public procurement in 2017, 2019, and 2021.

Mykolaiv also decided to turn an old residential building into a modern one. It is planned to spend more than UAH 143 million on this. The goal of the project is to comprehensively renovate an apartment building located at 21 Velyka Morska Street to improve its technical condition, energy efficiency, comfort, and safety of residents.

In addition, the idea was to create a modern hub out of an old boiler house in Voznesensk. More than UAH 17 million is planned to be spent on the reconstruction of the building. The goal of the growth hub is to combine resources, knowledge and support to accelerate the development of startups, businesses and innovations.
