Mykolaiv has announced a large-scale renovation of Children's Hospital No. 2, including facade insulation and window replacement, but no funds have been allocated for the work so far. There is no funding, so the timing of the reconstruction has not yet been determined.

This is evidenced by the data of the DREAM ecosystem.

Mykolaiv is preparing for a large-scale overhaul of the city's Children's Hospital No. 2. The work includes insulation of the facade and basement, replacement of windows and roofs, and renovation of internal engineering networks and gutters. The hospital building has four floors and a basement and is 17.6 meters high. It has 210 beds and employs 181 staff members. During the renovation, it is planned to strengthen the supporting structures, insulate the ceiling over the basement, install a modern pitched roof with insulation and upgrade the drainage system. In addition, windows and doors will be replaced, interior slopes, window sills, and ebbs will be finished, and a waterproof pavement and tile sidewalks will be installed around the building.

According to the description, the project involves the use of environmentally friendly and high-quality materials that meet modern sanitary, fire, technical, and aesthetic standards. The renovation will increase the energy efficiency of the building, improve lighting and ventilation, reduce noise from the street, and create more comfortable conditions for young patients.

The initiator and coordinator of the works is the Department of Energy, Energy Saving and Implementation of Innovative Technologies of Mykolaiv City Council. All activities are in line with the strategic documents for the development of the local community and are aimed at improving the quality of infrastructure and conditions for children in the hospital. Currently, no funding has been allocated for the works, so they are not scheduled to start yet.

Mykolaiv is also planning a large-scale reconstruction of school #23, which includes thermal sanitation of the building and creation of comfortable and safe conditions for 350 students and 45 teachers. The total cost of the project is estimated at UAH 34.2 million, but funding has not yet been confirmed.
