Mykolaiv City Hospital No. 1 has announced a search for a catering service provider for inpatients. The contract provides for the provision of ready meals to patients until the end of 2026.

This is evidenced by the data of the public procurement system Prozorro.

The budget is UAH 10 million 460 thousand. The procurement procedure involves dividing the contract into two separate lots, where more than UAH 10 million is allocated to provide food for inpatients, and the remaining amount is for an improved ration for military personnel. Applications from potential contractors will be accepted until February 10, and the bidding is scheduled for February 11.

The terms of the contract set out requirements for logistics and the quality of finished products. In particular, the contractor is obliged to deliver meals three times a day at clearly defined hours, providing the military with an additional midday meal. The entire process from cooking to delivery to the customer should take no more than an hour, and transportation should be carried out exclusively in tightly closed thermal containers.

A special emphasis is placed on the temperature regime, under which hot dishes must maintain a temperature of at least 75 degrees, main courses - at least 65 degrees, and cold drinks - no higher than 14 degrees.

Also, in Mykolaiv, tenders for food for kindergartens were held without competition. More than 187 million was awarded to a company with a dubious reputation and a history of abuse.

In early 2026, the Education Department of the Mykolaiv City Council announced two tenders for catering in preschool education institutions. According to Prozoroo, the total value of the procurement was over UAH 187 million - UAH 76,085,359 and UAH 111,604,380. The deadline for submitting proposals was January 9.
