A meeting of local entrepreneurs was held in Mykolaiv. The participants discussed issues of strengthening the business community, opportunities for attracting grant funds and new areas of cooperation.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Development Agency.

The key point of the event was the presentation of a platform for entrepreneurs, which was presented by the head of the NGO "Direction" Yuriy Trusov. He emphasized the importance of an active business community for Mykolaiv, which can unite entrepreneurs for mutual support, exchange of experience and stimulation of economic development in the region.

Oleg Feshchenko, an expert from the Recovery and Development Office, spoke about the specifics of grant funding in Ukraine. Currently, grants open up prospects for business development by facilitating the implementation of new projects and improving infrastructure.

During the event, the participants had the opportunity to meet, present their business and main activities, and discuss their goals. Entrepreneurs actively communicated, exchanged contacts, and looked for new partners for cooperation.

According to the organizers, the meeting allowed entrepreneurs to expand contacts, open new business opportunities, and support each other in difficult circumstances. An active business community contributes not only to the economic development of the city, but also to the social cohesion of the community. Interaction, exchange of experience and attraction of grants allow local entrepreneurs to effectively contribute to the recovery and development of Mykolaiv.

The meeting was organized with the support of the Mykolaiv Community Recovery and Development Office in cooperation with the Pivden Adult Learning and Education Center and the NGO My Direction.

It was also decided to introduce solar energy in Mykolaiv region. During the roundtable, the participants discussed alternative energy sources, solar stations, loans, and environmental solutions. During the event, entrepreneurs had the opportunity to discuss the implementation of solar energy in detail with representatives of contractors, credit institutions and regional power companies.

The regional platform Dialogue between Government and Business was recently launched in Mykolaiv. The platform aims to establish cooperation between entrepreneurs and local authorities. During this meeting, each entrepreneur was able to express their proposals for improving the economic climate in the region and the problems that hinder business development.

At the end of September, seven winners of the first regional competition for financial support for small and medium-sized businesses in the region in 2024 were selected in Mykolaiv. Each of them will receive up to UAH 200 thousand to develop and increase the production of goods, services or works.
