Kateryna Sadurska, a freediver from Mykolaiv, has set her ninth world record in the most difficult type of freediving, constant weight diving without fins (CNF).

The athlete announced this on her social media page.

Her new record of 88 meters was the third set under the auspices of CMAS. At the same time, she set a series of intermediate records for 82, 84 and 86 meters in AIDA-regulated competitions, demonstrating not only depth but also stability of results in various international events.

- I have been dreaming about this dive since last year, and I am so happy that it happened. 88 meters - without fins, one breath, 3 minutes 30 seconds, my 9th world record in this discipline, and it's hard to believe, but it's 14 meters deeper than my first record, which I set in 2023," said Kateryna Sadurska.
