Mykolaiv Air Defense Destroys Enemy Drones Amid Ongoing Attacks

On the night of February 24, air defense forces destroyed enemy drones over Mykolaiv region that attacked two communities, damaging several houses and cars.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

On the night of February 24, air defense forces destroyed six enemy Shahed 131/136 UAVs, preventing potential destruction.

On February 23, Russian troops attacked the Kutsurub community four times. A strike on the village of Dmytrivka damaged a private house and a car. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Also at 15:30, the enemy attacked Halytsynivka community with an FPV drone. Two private houses were damaged in the village of Lupareve. No people were injured.

On the night of February 23, air defense forces in Mykolaiv region destroyed three Shahed 131/136 attack drones.

A day earlier, on February 22, the enemy attacked the Kutsurubska community in Mykolaiv district with FPV drones twice, with no casualties. At 10:35 a.m. on the same day, the Halytsynivka community came under fire from an FPV drone, damaging three residential buildings, but causing no casualties.

The air defense forces shot down four more Shahed 131/136 drones, and a similar attack took place on the night of February 21, when four enemy drones were also destroyed.

On February 20, at about 17:05, the enemy attacked the Bashtanka district, probably with an S-300/S-400 missile. As a result of the blast wave and the fall of debris on a household plot, windows and doors of several houses were damaged.

The attack on February 16, when Russian troops massively shelled Mykolaiv, caused the greatest destruction. Critical infrastructure, five multi-storey buildings, four shops, a catering facility, and offices were damaged.

On February 15, a fire broke out on the territory of an agricultural enterprise in Mykolaiv district as a result of the fall of UAV debris, which was quickly extinguished. The blast wave also damaged a private house, an educational institution, a boiler house, a water treatment plant, an administrative building and an outpatient clinic. There were no casualties.
