The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klimenko paid a working visit to Odesa region together with the head of the State Emergency Service.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.

According to him, the minister said that the State Emergency Service decided to deploy response headquarters in each region, including Odesa region. The rescuers are ready to provide generators, drinking water supply, mobile heating stations and kitchens. In addition, the police will intensify patrols at night, control law and order and help people.

Meanwhile, power supply in the Arcadia neighborhood in Odesa is being provided according to a three-hour power outage followed by a six-hour break. This happened as a result of an accident on October 20 at a power facility in the Primorsky district. This facility has survived several enemy attacks and is damaged. On October 20, Russians attacked Odesa region with unmanned aerial vehicles and ballistic missiles.

Russians have intensified attacks on infrastructure as the fall approaches. Thus, as a result of an enemy drone attack on Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi in Odesa Oblast on the night of October 12, critical infrastructure facilities were partially damaged. The city was left without water supply for a short time. One civilian was injured in the night attack. A 34-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized from her private home. In addition, the enemy attacked Podilskyi district, where a gas transportation infrastructure facility was damaged.

Also, part of Odesa was cut off from electricity supply as a result of a Russian attack on the region's energy infrastructure on the night of October 11. Power supply has now been restored in the city.
