In the evening of November 14, Odesa was under massive attack by enemy UAVs. As a result of the shelling, fires broke out in different places. One woman was killed and 10 other people were injured.

According to Yuriy Ihnat, acting head of the Communications Department of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the drones were flying to Odesa from Krasnodar region and Crimea. The military officer emphasized that it was an attack by "shaheds" and not by drones of the so-called "unidentified type" that are constantly flying from the north mixed with real attack drones.

"That's why there are many consequences on the ground in Odesa, even after strike drones with warheads are hit/shot down," Ihnat said.

The soldier also explained that the dense construction of the city and the urbanized area significantly complicate the work of air defense, but the percentage of shootdowns remains high. However, unfortunately, not everything that flies can be shot down over the sea.
