The village of Limanka, Odesa district, has selected a contractor to reconstruct the water supply system. According to the results of the tender, the work will be carried out by Odessagrogaz LLC, which offered the most favorable price.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations.

This is a section from the Old Lustdorf Road to Harmanna Street, Chornomorka-2 housing estate, Limanka village.

On February 6, the Tairova village council held an auction in the format of open bidding with special features. Odessagrogaz offered the lowest price of UAH 16 million 744 thousand 880, which allowed it to outbid another bidder, Dream House Construction Company LLC, whose offer amounted to UAH 17 million 144 thousand 639.

In total, the budget provided for UAH 17 million 167 thousand 116. The works are to be completed by August 31, 2025.

According to the Anti-Corruption Dimension, Odessagrogaz LLC is suspected of possibly overstating the cost of procurement. In September 2024, it became known that the police were investigating a case of alleged embezzlement and misappropriation of budget funds during the construction of a water supply network in the village of Dachne, Odesa district.

The investigation is examining a contract concluded by the Department for the Maintenance of Communal Property of the Dachne Village Council, under which Odessagrogaz LLC was one of the contractors. The company was to receive more than UAH 9 million for the first stage of construction.

Law enforcement officials suspect that the estimated prices for the pipes may have been overstated. Earlier, in December 2023, journalists from the Nashi Hroshi publication also drew attention to this situation and estimated that the cost of materials in the documents might have been overstated by half.

Also, the Tairova village council announced a tender to find a contractor who will be paid for the construction of a water supply system on Shevchenko and Nadiya streets in the village of Sukhyi Lyman in Odesa region.
