On December 20, the Land Bank sold three plots of land in Mykolaiv region with a total area of 1,321 hectares at an auction. The auction was attended by 14 bidders.

According to the press service of the Land Bank, the starting price of the land was UAH 4.1 million, but due to competition, it rose to UAH 21 million, which is 5.1 times higher than the initial price. On average, one hectare was sold for UAH 15,858.

The most expensive plot of 1120.66 hectares is located in the Vilnozaporizka community. Its price rose from the initial UAH 3.5 million to UAH 16.1 million. The bidders competed vigorously, but in the end, a local agricultural enterprise won.

After taxes, the economic effect of the sale is expected to amount to UAH 25.1 million. The Land Bank's online auctions are held weekly, and anyone can participate to get land for use on favorable terms.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food added that this week the state received UAH 41.1 million from sublease of agricultural land at the Land Bank's online auctions through Prozorro.Sale. After taxes, the total economic effect may reach UAH 49.3 million.

Land plots were put up for auction in seven regions: Kirovograd, Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia and Khmelnytsky regions. The total area of these lands is 2,413.5 hectares.

The 14 auctions were attended by 85 bidders, mostly local farmers and agricultural enterprises. On average, each auction attracted 28 bidders.

Minister of Agrarian Policy Vitaliy Koval noted that 68% of the winners were small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises with up to 60 employees. He emphasized that thanks to the transparent bidding system, such enterprises are able to lease state land, which contributes to the development of their business.
