Ukraine’s new Prime Minister, Serhiy Koretskyi, has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a list of the individuals he intends to appoint as ministers in his government; among the names is Vitalii Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.
This was reported by the Verkhovna Rada’s press service.
Vitalii Kim has been nominated for the position of Minister of Veterans Affairs. Vitalii Kim is a Ukrainian entrepreneur and politician of Korean descent. He has served as head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration since November 25, 2020.
In 2019, during the presidential and parliamentary elections, he worked at the Mykolaiv Regional Election Headquarters of the “Servant of the People” party. In 2020, during the local elections, he headed the campaign headquarters and was also a candidate for the Mykolaiv City Council. Since 2020, he has been pursuing a doctoral degree in “public administration” at the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding.

- Tetyana Berezhna for the position of Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for Humanitarian Policy – Minister of Culture of Ukraine;
- Vsevolod Chentsov for the position of Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine;
- Vitaliy Bezgin for the position of Minister of Communities, Territories, and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine;
- Matvii Bidnyi for the position of Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine;
- Andriy Butenko for the position of Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine;
- Ivan Vygivsky for the position of Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine;
- Taras Vysotsky as Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine;
- Mykola Kalashnyk for the position of Minister of Recovery, Infrastructure, and Transport of Ukraine;
- Oleksandr Kravchenko for the position of Minister of Economy and Environment of Ukraine;
- Viktor Lyashko for the position of Minister of Health of Ukraine;
- Serhiy Marchenko for the position of Minister of Finance of Ukraine;
