Kherson plans to restore a multi-story building destroyed by shelling. The budget has been approved, but the project needs funding.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the DREAM ecosystem.

It is planned to overhaul part of the apartment building No. 5 on Ivan Vazov Street, which was severely damaged as a result of Russian armed aggression.

The building was damaged as a result of a direct hit by a munition: apartments from the 6th to the 9th floors of the second entrance were destroyed, exterior walls on the 7th and 8th floors, internal supporting structures on the 8th and 9th floors were destroyed, and there are no floors between these floors.

The total cost of the project is about UAH 7.4 million, of which:

So far, 425 thousand hryvnias of funding (less than 6% of the total need) have been confirmed, which went to the development of design and survey documentation.

Mykolaiv also plans to overhaul a multi-storey building that was damaged by Russian shelling. The expected cost of the work is almost UAH 13 million, and it is expected to be completed by the end of September.

Meanwhile, in the village of Posad Pokrovske in Kherson region, the reconstruction of destroyed housing has begun: new houses are planned to be built to replace those destroyed by Russian strikes. Almost 400 million hryvnias are allocated for this purpose.
