In Kherson, ten temporary structures at eight locations throughout the city have been deemed illegal. The list includes kiosks, glass recycling collection points, drinking water stands, shoe repair shops, and an outdoor seating area near a café.

This information comes from anorder issued by Yaroslav Shank, head of the Kherson City Administration.

The decision was made following inspections by the Public Works Inspection, the findings of the relevant city council department, and a meeting of a special commission that reviewed the legality of the temporary structures’ installation.

According to the appendix to the order, the following structures are subject to removal:

In most cases, the owners of the structures have not been identified. The exception is the outdoor seating area near the HOT ENOT café, which is listed as being owned by O.V. Yashchuk.

Owners will be given five business days to dismantle the structures themselves after receiving a warning. If they fail to do so, the Municipal Road Administration will carry out the work.

If necessary, the police, utility companies, municipal services, and the “Municipal Guard” will be involved in the process.

Earlier, the dismantling of advertising structures was accelerated in Kherson.

Meanwhile, in Odesa, following a court ruling from August 2023, a café that had been built without authorization in the Luzanivka neighborhood was dismantled.
