Installation of monuments for Ukraine's defenders in Mykolaiv region estimated at more than three million

A tender for the purchase of monuments for fallen Ukrainian soldiers has been announced in Pivdenoukrainsk. They are to be installed on the Alleys of Glory of local cemeteries.

This is according to the Prozorro electronic public procurement system.

The work was commissioned by the utility company Utility Service of the South Ukrainian City Council.

Bids are accepted until February 5, and the auction is scheduled for February 8.

The purchase and installation of 20 monuments to the Defenders of Ukraine was estimated at UAH 3.6 million. The minimum price reduction step is UAH 18 thousand 77. No bid security is required.

According to the terms of the tender, each monument must be configured in accordance with the sketch, made of granite and identical. Before applying artwork to the product, namely: portrait, full name, date of birth and date of death, awards on the chevron, the layout of such artwork must be agreed with the customer. The stone must be of high quality, free of defects, without cracks, imprinted pieces, chips, and not contain inclusions, mica, or veins on the surface. There should also be holes for mounting and installing the monuments.

The cost of the work includes transportation costs for the delivery of monuments to the place of work. Place of work: on the Alleys of Glory of the cemeteries of the South Ukrainian city territorial community of Voznesensk district, Mykolaiv region.

The warranty period must be at least 10 years. The selected contractor must complete the work by November 30, 2025. The customer must make payment for the work performed on the basis of a certificate of completion within 30 calendar days.

Mykolaiv Funeral Service also announced a tender for the purchase of funeral goods worth more than UAH three million. It is planned to purchase coffins of various types and sizes, with the total cost of funeral paraphernalia amounting to UAH 3.2 million.

Recently, the city's Capital Construction Department signed a contract for the engineering design of a memorial complex dedicated to the memory of fallen soldiers without holding an auction. The memorial will be built on the territory of the Central City Institution on Kherson Highway. The work should be completed by February 10, 2026.
