In Odesa, a court found nine employees of the district military registration and enlistment office and the joint venture guilty of being involved in the unlawful detention of men and acts of violence during mobilization activities. Seven of them were sentenced to prison terms, and four of the convicted individuals were barred from working at district military registration and enlistment offices for three years.

According to the State Bureau of Investigations, the case was investigated after a group of district military registration and enlistment center employees was exposed in June 2026. According to the investigation, they organized the illegal transport and detention of men at the recruitment center, where the victims were beaten, intimidated, and subjected to psychological pressure.
