In Odessa, a seized hotel was proposed as a place to house displaced persons

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The Agency for the Search and Management of Assets (</span></span></span></span></span></span><span><span><span><span><span><span>ARMA) is considering the possibility of transferring the seized “Odessa” hotel complex for the temporary accommodation of internally displaced persons. The practical implementation of this plan was discussed during an off-site meeting of the parliamentary group “Protection of the Rights of IDPs and Others Affected by Russian Aggression” in Odesa. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The Law of Ukraine “On ARMA” provides for the possibility of using seized assets to meet the needs of internally displaced persons. An asset may be transferred for management based on the results of an open competition or, in cases specified by law, by a decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. In both cases, the terms of management may allow for the use of part of the facility to temporarily house IDPs.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The “Odesa” complex has 175 rooms designed to accommodate two to four people. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

Earlier,<span><span><span><span><span><span>veterans in Odesa received 87 housing certificates during a visit by the Prime Minister. Internally displaced persons</span></span></span></span></span></span>who relocated from the temporarily occupied territories to the Odesa region used 298 vouchers to purchase housing under the e-Recovery program “Housing for IDPs from the TOT.” Odesa Oblast ranked third in this category.
