In Odesa region, they are trying to hold a tender for the repair of a school that has already been repaired at the second attempt

The Mayakivka village council in Odesa Oblast has announced a tender for major repairs to the Nadlyman school for the second time. The budget was set at over UAH 84 million. But another interesting thing is that this school was already renovated in 2021.

According to the Prozorro website, the new tender was announced by the Department of Urban Development and Communal Property of the Mayakivka Village Council in Odesa Oblast on October 3.

The tender documentation lists the following repairs: communications, roof reconstruction, installation of warning systems, fire alarms and video surveillance, kiosks, boiler repair, landscaping, street lighting, etc.

The auction is scheduled for October 13 in an open bidding format with special features. Bids are currently being submitted. The expected purchase price is UAH 84 million 761 thousand.

This is the second attempt to announce this tender. The first one was supposed to be held on December 8, 2023, but the tender was canceled a few days later. The reason for the cancellation was "reduction of expenditures for the procurement of goods, works and services."

According to official data, Nadlymansky Lyceum of the Mayakivka village council has only 244 students in 14 grades, so this tender immediately outraged citizens who drew attention to the cost of renovating a small school in a small village.

It became known that this school had already been renovated in 2021 as part of the state program "Big Construction". In particular, the repairs were reported on the website of the Odesa Regional Education Administration. Back then, work was done to strengthen the foundation, replace windows, upgrade engineering systems, and insulate walls. A total of 46 million hryvnias was spent on these measures.

Meanwhile, in the village of Dachne, Odesa region, it is planned to build a new radiation shelter in a school that was seriously damaged by the occupiers' missile attacks. The budget for the work was set at over UAH 117 million.

In addition, in Dobroslav, Odesa Oblast, the village council is again looking for a contractor to reconstruct building No. 1 of the Krayina Mriy kindergarten.
