In Odesa, following the explosions, one fatality and damage to infrastructure were reported

Explosions were heard again in Odesa in the middle of the day, and city residents heard the air defense forces in action. The invaders’ attack claimed the life of one person; another person was injured.

This was reported by Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa Military Administration.

On the afternoon of July 16, Russian troops attacked Odesa once again. A series of explosions rocked the city, and air defense forces engaged aerial targets.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, “Banderole” loitering munitions, launched from the Black Sea, were heading toward Odesa. Monitoring channels reported that one of the aerial targets was heading toward the Lanzheron and Arkadia districts.

After the explosions, Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration, reported that the enemy had once again struck infrastructure facilities. An investigation into the circumstances and extent of the damage is currently underway.

Details about the attack’s casualties later emerged. According to preliminary information, one person was killed as a result of the Russian strike. Another person was injured and is receiving the necessary medical care.

Details regarding the consequences of the attack are being clarified. Emergency services are on the scene, clearing up the aftermath of the shelling and documenting the damage.

A day of mourning in Odesa began amid the sounds of air raid sirens and a new Russian attack. The occupiers attacked the city again on the morning of July 16. As a result of the enemy strike, one of the city’s educational institutions was damaged. In addition, a gas station was damaged.

Furthermore, on the evening of the previous day, around 7:00 p.m., Russian troops attacked the city again. An infrastructure facility was damaged as a result of the shelling. 

On the morning of July 15, Russian troops launched a missile strike on Odesa. Three people were killed and three others were wounded as a result ofthe attack. Residential buildings were also damaged. The number of casualties from the missile attack has risen to 8 people.
