In Mykolaiv, a house of creativity is to be turned into an innovation center

Mykolaiv is planning to reconstruct a school art center into a modern innovation center. More than twenty million hryvnias are to be raised for this purpose.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Dream ecosystem.

It is planned to reconstruct the students' art center at 18 Mala Morska Street in Mykolaiv to house the non-profit organization Mykolaiv Water Hub.

The goal of the Mykolaiv Water Hub project is to create an innovation center for the development of water technologies, environmental sustainability, and water conservation in the city.

The project aims to bring together professionals, scientists, entrepreneurs, and NGOs to jointly develop and implement innovations in water technology, water treatment, water management, and water services. It is also aimed at raising environmental awareness among the population, drawing attention to water issues and creating efficient and sustainable water systems for the city of Mykolaiv and its residents.

The innovative water laboratory, which will become a platform for students and researchers from the universities of Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Odesa, will allow for experiments to improve water supply and reclamation systems in the southern region.

The project budget is UAH 22 million. The estimated duration of the reconstruction is 18 months.

The target audience of the project is the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University, and Mykolaiv National Agrarian University.

The project was initiated by the Mykolaiv City Council and commissioned by the Capital Construction Department. The project is currently in preparation and requires funding.

Mykolaiv also plans to modernize the park into a modern space with the help of a French architect. More than thirty million hryvnias are to be raised for this purpose. It is planned to reconstruct the park located along residential buildings #17, 19 on Heroiv Ukrayiny Avenue. The goal of the project is to create an attractive and functional place for recreation and cultural life for residents and visitors.

And in Mykolaiv region, they came up with an idea to create a modern hub out of an old boiler room. More than UAH 17 million is planned to be raised for the reconstruction of the building. It is planned to reconstruct the boiler house into a multifunctional hub in Voznesensk. The hub will provide access to new knowledge, financial support, mentoring and networking, which will help businesses grow.
