In Kherson, a drone attacked a utility worker: 6 injured in one day

In the Kherson region over the past 24 hours, six people were injured as a result of Russian airstrikes, drone attacks, and artillery shelling. Kherson and more than 30 other settlements in the region came under fire.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration.

Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods. Two high-rise buildings and five private homes were damaged, along with a church, outbuildings, agricultural equipment, and vehicles.

Among those injured were residents of Kherson, Bilozerky, and Urozhayne.

At around 8:00 a.m., a Russian drone attacked a 64-year-old man in the Korabelny district of Kherson. He sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to his torso, arms, and legs.

A 55-year-old resident of Bilozerka, who had been injured the previous day when a Russian drone struck his car, also sought medical attention at the hospital. He was diagnosed with blast trauma and a concussion.

Around 12:40 p.m. in the Central District of Kherson, a Russian drone attacked a 45-year-old utility worker. He sustained a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his ear and leg.

Another strike occurred around 1:10 p.m. in Urozhayne, Beryslav Community. A 50-year-old village head was injured in the attack. He sustained a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his chest, back, arms, and legs.

Seven people were evacuated from liberated communities in the Kherson region over the past 24 hours.
