In addition to electricity, gas supply was also affected in Odesa region

Some residents of Odesa region were left not only without electricity but also without gas supply as a result of a night attack by Russians.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper.

According to him, work is underway to restore gas supply to 260 subscribers. In addition, work is underway in Odesa district and Odesa city to eliminate the consequences of enemy attacks and restore power supply. Over the past hours, power companies have connected another 52.5 thousand subscribers. About 25 thousand customers are still without power supply.

Critical infrastructure is operating stably. We have set up 161 resilience points in the city to charge gadgets, provide support and help. Since the beginning of the day, 84 people have applied to these points.

Part of Odesa is without power as a result of the Russian attack on the region's energy infrastructure on the night of October 11. As a result of the attacks, fires broke out in the energy infrastructure and a three-story building of a hotel and restaurant complex. Firefighters rescued two people and extinguished the fires.

On the night of October 11, 2025, the air defense of southern Ukraine shot down or suppressed 27 Shahed and Gerber attack UAVs (other types of drones) in Odesa region. One of the drones, according to eyewitnesses, flew into an apartment in a residential complex and did not explode. The weapon was removed by sappers.

An apartment building and two dormitories were damaged as a result of the enemy attack in Peresypsk district, 72 windows in them.

Employees of the Peresypsk district administration and municipal services are working at the site to eliminate the consequences of the hostile attack. According to preliminary data, about 10 private houses in Khadzhibey district sustained various degrees of damage. One of them was severely damaged.

Employees of the district administration, together with utility companies, are visiting households to clarify information about the damage and provide explanations on how to receive financial assistance to restore damaged windows, doors and roofs.
