How much Mykolaiv Regional Council spent: procurement in 2024 in figures

In 2024, the Mykolaiv Regional Council spent more than three million hryvnias from the regional budget for its needs. The most expensive were fuel, repairs and consulting services.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to data from the electronic trading platform izi.trade in the Prozorro public procurement system.

During 2024, the Mykolaiv Regional Council conducted a number of procurements aimed at ensuring the functioning of infrastructure, organizing events and supporting social needs.

The tenders covered various needs: fuel purchases, installation of a generator, repairs, consultations, etc.

Mykolaiv Regional Council spent a total of UAH 360,326 on fuel purchases. Of this amount, UAH 131,326 was spent on diesel fuel, UAH 117,980 on A-95 (Euro 5) gasoline, and UAH 111,020 on WOG A-95 gasoline.

Current repairs of non-residential premises cost UAH 390,592, and services for the installation of a diesel generator cost UAH 94,412. UAH 93,222 was spent on the installation of backup power lines.

The regional council also ordered the organization of events and consulting services to inform the public.

The organization of the celebrations cost taxpayers UAH 59,500. Production and broadcasting of television content cost UAH 298,200. However, consulting services for the organization of public relations were the most expensive of all the tenders held - UAH 1,104,250 was spent on this.

In addition, the regional council ordered servers for UAH 390,000 and staffing services for the maintenance and upkeep of electricity, water and sewage networks for UAH 98,100.

UAH 164,456 was spent on cleaning services for the premises and adjacent territory.

No bids were held for office paper worth UAH 24,000 and car tires worth UAH 24,352.

In total, Mykolaiv Regional Council spent UAH 3 million 53 thousand 58 on its needs.

The Dream digital ecosystem has already registered 489 recovery projects for Mykolaiv region with a total budget of UAH 37.87 billion. Currently, only UAH 5.64 billion is available, which is 14.9% of the required amount.

Mykolaiv region also received twice as much funding for reconstruction as Odesa, due to the large-scale destruction and occupation in 2022. During the first year after de-occupation, 53 tenders worth more than a billion hryvnias were announced, most of which were for construction work.
