On January 21, Russian troops launched a massive drone attack in the south of Odesa region. The shelling damaged residential and industrial infrastructure, and resulted in one casualty.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
In Odesa district, private residential buildings were destroyed and damaged, and a warehouse where furniture was stored was completely destroyed.
According to preliminary reports, a 50-year-old man sustained a leg injury. He was taken to hospital and is being treated by doctors.
Rescuers quickly extinguished the fires that resulted from the attack. Currently, all relevant services are dealing with the aftermath of the attack, and law enforcement agencies are documenting yet another war crime by the Russian Federation against the civilian population of Odesa region.

Also at dawn, Russian troops attacked the civilian infrastructure of Odesa region, striking residential areas and energy facilities. In Chornomorsk, a drone hit a multi-story residential building, damaging the facade and glazing.
