Head of Belgorod-Dniester Port presented the development concept in Baku

Oksana Kiktenko, Director of the Belgorod-Dniester Commercial Sea Port, presented the company's development concept in Baku.

This was reported by Igor Bilyk, Deputy Director of the enterprise .

According to him, Oksana Kiktenko took part in the Black Sea-Caspian Logistics Forum 2025: Corridors, Cargo, Infrastructure, which took place on September 9-11 in Baku.

The development concept for the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi port envisages the construction of

• an automobile-railway ferry complex
• a container terminal; and
• an oil terminal;
• Class A covered warehouses;
• a grain terminal.

On August 27, the process of transferring ownership of the Belgorod-Dniester Commercial Sea Port was completed. The port, which was sold at auction last November, is now fully privately owned.

Earlier, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi seaport signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Georgian company Batumi International Container Terminals LLC (BICT). As part of this cooperation, it is planned to launch a ferry to Batumi. According to her, the purpose of the memorandum is to attract cargo traffic through the Middle Corridor by expanding cargo handling capabilities.

This is the second memorandum of cooperation signed by the Belgorod-Dniester Port on the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TICT), or the Middle Corridor. BICT operates and manages container, ferry and general terminals in the seaport of Batumi, Georgia. The port administration plans to transform the port of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi into the largest TMT hub on the European side of the route.

This is the second memorandum of cooperation signed by the port of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi on the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TIHR), or the Middle Corridor.
