Two judges in Crimea are under investigation for collaboration in favor of Russia. They illegally convicted Crimeans and supported the occupation authorities on the peninsula.

This was reported by the press service of the SBU Main Directorate in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

Based on the SBU materials, two more occupation judges will be tried in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Law enforcement officers have completed an investigation into two collaborators who legalize the occupation policy of the Russian Federation and pass illegal sentences on Crimeans.

It is the head of the so-called Leninsky District Court, who sentenced Crimean activist Fevzi Sagandzhi to 10 years in prison in a case fabricated by the FSB. The second offender voluntarily accepted the position of a judge of the so-called "Arbitration Court of the Republic of Crimea" in 2022. According to the investigation, she considered at least five thousand cases in favor of the aggressor state.

Based on the evidence collected, both are charged under Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - for collaboration. Since they are in the uncontrolled territory, comprehensive measures are being taken to bring them to justice for crimes against Ukraine. According to media reports, these are Ivan Udut and Daria Borysenko.

According to the Chesno movement, Ivan Mykhailovych Udut worked in the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea until 2014. In 2023, the National Security and Defense Council imposed five-year sanctions on him. Back in 2015, Ivan Udut was notified of suspicion of treason: the investigation found that he joined the illegally created prosecutor 's office in Crimea and followed the orders of the leadership of this structure.

Since the exposed collaborators are located in the temporarily uncontrolled territories of Ukraine, law enforcement officers are taking comprehensive measures to bring them to justice for their crimes against Ukraine.

In September, the Kherson City Court found former judge Yulia Berlimova guilty of high treason and collaboration and sentenced her to life in prison. She had worked as a judge since 2009, and during the full-scale Russian invasion she headed the Genichesk District Court of Kherson region.

During covert investigative actions, law enforcement officers received her Telegram correspondence, which confirms that she was passing information to the enemy.
