In Kherson regional council, five deputies used premium cars. The rest of the deputies either used official vehicles or did not have their own cars.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations, which analyzed the declarations of the MPs.

MPs' cars are no less revealing than their houses or accounts. The declarations contain everything from old Zhiguli to luxury SUVs and even boats.

The absolute champion is Victoria Havrenkova, who has 26 vehicles registered. Among them are a VAZ, two Audi Q7s, and a new Audi SQ8 bought in 2024 for UAH 1.6 million. She also has 10 trucks, 8 semi-trailers, and 4 trailers. Last year, the MP sold nine semi-trailers for only 10 thousand hryvnias each.

Viktor Vetrov took the second place with 14 vehicles, 13 of which are registered to him personally. His collection includes Mercedes-Benz GL350 and S 350 D, Renault Kangoo, a retro GAZ 21, several trucks, three semi-trailers and a tractor. His wife uses a Skoda Octavia A7.

MP Oleksiy Marushchenko owns 12 cars and special equipment: among them, a VAZ, three trucks, five semi-trailers, and two agricultural units. His wife has a compact Toyota C-HR.

Yuriy Vlasov owns a Toyota Sequoia, Volkswagen Transporter, Mercedes-Benz Viano, Skoda Fabia, and a truck. His wife drives a Mercedes-Benz GLE 250.

Serhiy Rybalko has only four vehicles: UAZ, ZAZ and a Progress-4 boat. His wife owns a Toyota Land Cruiser.

However, Hanna Pylyay, Volodymyr Senyk, Yuriy Sobolevskyi, Albert Cherepakha, Iryna Sokur, Oksana Palamarchuk and Serhiy Khlan did not declare any cars. At the same time, Khlan uses a Mercedes-Benz S560 from his own company Zlotodar.

So, while some MPs turn their garages into real exhibition spaces, others declare a complete lack of transportation. However, they always find a way out - at least through official cars.

As for jewelry, only three out of 25 MPs indicated it. Viktoriia Havrenkova reported a Swiss Zenith Of Swiss watch worth over 326 thousand. Yuriy Odarchenko listed a collection of stamps in his declaration. And Serhiy Khlan declared three expensive watches by Bovet, Hublot and Jaeger LeCoultre, but without specifying the value, explaining that they were purchased before the first declaration.

From time to time, the media reports about very cheap cars that Ukrainian officials, politicians, and law enforcement officers declare in their declarations. The journalists decided to study this topic in detail to find out how often the value of cars is understated.
