The published documents in the case of American financier Jeffrey Epstein show that his international network of female recruitment included Odesa. The name of the city appears in the materials at least 200 times.
This was reported by Channel 24.
The correspondence shows that Epstein himself did not necessarily visit Odesa, but his assistants visited the city several times in different years - 2010, 2012, 2018 and 2019. The documents document the financier's team's trips to Ukraine and the movement of women from Odesa to European cities, including Paris.
In particular, in 2018, one of the women from Odesa, Olga Zasyadko, traveled to France. Epstein engaged the Russian-speaking manager of the Centurion company , Natalia Molotkova, to organize her tickets. The documents also contain references to the financier's cooperation with Odesa modeling agencies .
Most of the published materials consist of excerpts from messenger messages, partially hidden by US investigators. Names and some details remain classified in many cases.
Western media have noted that these documents provide only a fragmentary picture of the scope of Epstein's activities. His network was not limited to the supply of women for the rich and political leaders - meetings were filmed on hidden cameras, and the dirt could also reach the Kremlin.
Among the references to Ukraine is the correspondence of former Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak, who discussed Ukrainian women. Lajčák later explained that his comments were joking and that he considered Epstein to be a person who opens new contacts.
The U.S. Department of Justice documents also contain correspondence between Epstein and Brian Bishop regarding plans for genetic enhancement and possible cloning, with some of the experiments conducted on animals in Ukraine.
Separately, the materials mention the city of Sumy and former MP Andrii Derkach, who appears in the context of disseminating information about corruption cases in the United States, including issues related to Joe Biden.
Last year, a 27-year-old Odesa resident, in collusion with unidentified individuals, organized the search, selection and recruitment of Ukrainian women to provide intimate services in an EU country. By misleading people about her real intentions, the woman promised them free plane tickets and decent salaries abroad. Thus, the suspect recruited two of her friends. She was detained while recruiting another woman.
