Enemy strikes in Mykolaiv region: six people injured in shelling

The enemy attacked Mykolaiv region with drones and fired artillery. Six people were injured as a result of the occupiers' shelling. Some of them are in serious condition.

This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Military District Vitaliy Kim.

In the morning, on August 10, at 10:44 and 11:45, the enemy attacked Dniprovske village of Kutsurubska community with FPV drones. One of the attacks damaged a private house and a civilian car. There was also a fire on agricultural machinery, which was promptly extinguished.

Two men were wounded in the shelling. Thus, a 25-year-old man was provided with medical assistance on an outpatient basis, his condition is satisfactory. Another man received medical aid on the spot and refused hospitalization.

In the afternoon, on August 10, at 14:30, the town of Ochakiv of the Ochakiv community came under enemy artillery fire. As a result, seven private houses and a power line were damaged. A fire broke out on the territory of one of the houses. Two outbuildings and dry grass also caught fire. All fires were quickly extinguished by firefighters.

According to the updated data, four people were injured. Two women aged 70 and 73 and two men aged 44 and 69. In the morning, the condition of the three victims is satisfactory. A woman in her 70s was hospitalized in Mykolaiv, her condition is serious.

Also in the afternoon, on August 10, at 14:20, the enemy shelled the Kutsurub community with artillery. As a result, a private house was damaged in the village of Ivanivka. There were no casualties.

At 12:43 p.m., Vitaliy Kim provided an update on the downed drones in the region.

Thus, on the night of August 11, seven Shahed 131/136 UAVs were shot down by air defense forces in Mykolaiv region.

On August 9, at lunchtime, the enemy fired on the Kutsurubska community in Mykolaiv region. The shelling took place at 12:00, 12:39 and 13:12, damaging the village club and kindergarten in Ivanivka village. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The enemy also shelled the town of Ochakiv, and a fire broke out in a non-residential outbuilding and on dry grass. In addition, the enemy attacked the Kutsurub community with FPV drones. In the village of Solonchaky, a drone hit a residential building, causing a fire on the roof, which was quickly extinguished.

On August 8, air defense destroyed seven Shahed 131/136 UAVs. The falling wreckage caused a fire. As a result of the air defense forces' combat operations and the fall of the reconnaissance drone wreckage, a dry grass fire broke out in the open area, which was quickly extinguished by firefighters.

On the night of August 7, air defense forces and equipment destroyed fourteen Shahed 131/136 UAVs in Mykolaiv region. As a result of combat operations and falling wreckage, two dry grass fires broke out in open areas in Mykolaiv and Bashtanka districts.
