Employee of the State Enforcement Service of Ukraine in Crimea betrayed the country

A former employee of the State Enforcement Service of Ukraine in Crimea faces up to 15 years in prison for collaboration. The official is suspected of collaborating with the occupation authorities on the peninsula, which led to a violation of Ukrainian law.

This was reported by the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

It has been established that before the occupation of the peninsula, the accused worked as a civil servant in the Main Department of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in the AR of Crimea. However, in 2014, she accepted the enemy's offer and took the position of 'bailiff of the bailiff department in Saki and Saki district of the Russian Federal Bailiff Service in the Republic of Crimea', which she holds to this day.

In this way, the accused ensures the execution of illegal court decisions and acts of other occupation authorities, assisting the enemy in conducting subversive activities against Ukraine. The special pre-trial investigation was carried out by the SBU Main Directorate in the AR of Crimea.

Earlier, it became known that since the beginning of the occupation of Crimea, 122 people have become involved in the so-called 'cases of Crimean Muslims'. Russian security forces accuse them of involvement in the religious organization Hizb ut-Tahrir, which is banned in Russia but allowed in most countries.

According to the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, 83 people are being held in Russian prisons, 27 are in pre-trial detention centers, and three are under house arrest. Eight have been released, and one person died in Russian custody. The charges are based on the testimony of 'hidden witnesses', the conclusions of 'experts' cooperating with the FSB, and banned Islamic literature found during searches.
