On Sunday, October 19, maintenance work on the power grid is scheduled in Odesa and parts of the Odesa district. As a result, there may be prolonged outages and brief interruptions in power supply.

According to DTEK Odessa Power Grids, utility workers will be performing scheduled maintenance from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. To ensure worker safety, power will be shut off during this time in parts of the Kyiv and Khadzhibey districts of Odessa.

In addition, on October 19 from 8:00 a.m. to midnight, there may be brief interruptions in power supply in parts of the Odesa region, specifically in the Peresypsky District of Odesa.

The company warns that these outages may temporarily disrupt the operation of critical infrastructure facilities.

If an air raid alert is declared, the duration of the work may be extended.

On October 17, rolling blackouts were implemented in Odesa and the region. Power will be cut off according to a schedule for 12 hours.

Following this, Russian troops launched a massive nighttime attack on energy facilities in the Odesa region. As a result of the strikes, approximately 24,000 consumers in various districts of the region were left without power.

In addition, on the night of October 16, the Russian army once again attacked the Odesa region. The strike damaged an energy facility, leaving part of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district without power.
