Drones attacked southern Odesa region: explosions damaged private houses

The south of Odesa region was once again targeted by Russian drones - in the middle of the night, drones hit a residential building and an infrastructure facility. Despite the destruction and damage to the surrounding buildings, there were no casualties or injuries.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper.

On the night of May 28, Russian troops carried out another attack with attack drones in the southern part of Odesa region.

According to preliminary information, the strike resulted in a UAV hitting a private residential building and an infrastructure facility. The blast wave and debris caused damage to nearby homes, with windows smashed and glazing damaged.

Local residents experienced a disturbing night due to the air strike and explosions. Relevant services are working at the site to determine the extent of the damage and document the consequences of the latest strike.

Fortunately, according to available information, there were no civilian casualties.

On the afternoon of May 27, an enemy drone hit the area of a shopping center. The hit caused a fire, setting at least five cars on fire. Commercial premises were also damaged, including the Wines of the World store, a pharmacy, and a branch of a logistics company.

The attack left 11 people injured, eight of whom were hospitalized. The victims include six men, three women and two children aged 11 and 12.

In the night of May 25, the Russians launched a combined missile and drone air attack that resulted in the death of a man and the injury of three others. The attack killed a man and wounded three others. The shock wave smashed about 50 windows in five houses. A school was also damaged, with 47 windows broken.

On May 23, nine people were injured in the strike, including three children aged 8 to 12.
