Three children injured by Russian missile in Odesa region

The combined air attack launched by the Russians in the evening and on the night of May 23 did not spare Odesa region.

According to the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper, nine people were wounded in the attack, including three children aged 8 to 12.

Seven of the injured were taken to hospitals. Doctors assessed the condition of one of the adults as serious, the children are in moderate condition. All relevant services are working at the scene. The injured were provided with medical aid. The enemy was aiming at the bridge in Mayaky, but the missile hit a recreation center.

The last time Odesa region was shelled was on May 20, when the enemy launched a massive attack on Odesa - fires broke out in the city, a building was destroyed and residential areas and infrastructure were damaged. According to preliminary reports, no one was injured in the strikes. In one of the city's districts, after an enemy strike, rescuers extinguished a fire at the site of a completely destroyed one-story building. A hit to the upper floors of a multi-story building was recorded without further detonation.

On the night of May 18, the Russian army once again attacked Odesa with attack drones, injuring an 11-year-old boy and a 59-year-old man. As a result of the enemy attack, three residential buildings were hit by drones in Kyiv and Prymorsky districts of Odesa. One of them, a one-story building in Prymorskyi district, was completely destroyed. Other houses had damaged facades, roofs and glazing. Local fires broke out and were extinguished.

On the night of May 16, Russians attacked the south of Odesa region, including Izmail. In particular, a five-story residential building was hit. The façade and glazing were damaged, and the balconies and a car shop on the ground floor caught fire. In addition, a one-story residential building was damaged - two people were injured there.
