Mykolaiv region suffers almost daily from shelling by Russian occupation forces.

According to Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Military District Administration, at 01:57 on October 19, the water area of the Ochakiv community came under enemy attack. However, there were no deaths or injuries.

Also at night, air defense forces and means worked on Russian kamikaze drones. The defenders of the sky managed to destroy one Shahed-136/131 drone.

Earlier, Vitaliy Kim noted that the occupiers had changed the tactics of shelling in Mykolaiv region, in particular, the enemy began using missiles and drones to attack areas that had not been shelled so often before. Thus, in addition to the daily shelling of Ochakivska and Kutsurubska communities, attacks are now directed at Bashtanska, Mykolaivska and Snihurivska communities. In addition, Mykolaiv itself and its neighborhoods are also suffering.

In October, the number of such attacks in the region increased. A missile strike on Mykolaiv on the night of October 15 killed a woman and injured 16 people of varying severity. Residential buildings were heavily damaged, and residents were promised to be relocated.

On October 12, the occupiers shelled Mykolaiv region with drones. A fire broke out on a farm in the Snihuriv community due to a hit from an enemy drone.

On October 9, the enemy struck an infrastructure facility on the outskirts of Mykolaiv, damaging warehouse buildings. In addition, shelling damaged two houses in Solonchaky village and three residential buildings, a power line, a gas pipeline, outbuildings, an abandoned childcare facility and three vehicles in Dmytrivka.
