Russian Military Shelled 32 Settlements in Kherson, 4 Injured

Yesterday, on March 23, the Russian military shelled 32 settlements in the region and the city of Kherson. Four people were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Russian troops shelled critical and social infrastructure; residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, they damaged a high-rise building and 25 private houses. The occupiers also damaged a gas pipe, a garage and private cars.

Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Molodizhne, Komyshany, Bilozerka, Veletynske, Kizomys, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Ingulets, Beryslav, Novooleksandrivka, Urozhayne, and others came under enemy fire and air strikes, Rakivka, Novoraysk, Shlyakhove, Novoberislav, Nadezhdivka, Dudchany, Burgunka, Dniprovske, Zmiivka, Kostyrka, Lvov, Mykolayivka, Naddnipryanske, Novotyanka, Olgivka, Osokorivka, Rozlyv, Tyahyntsi and the city of Kherson.

At about 10:00, Russian occupants fired at the Dniprovsky district of Kherson with artillery. A couple was injured in the shelling. A 62-year-old woman sustained a mine-blast injury, shrapnel wounds to her back, shoulder and hip. The 66-year-old man sustained explosive and craniocerebral injuries, a shrapnel wound to the chest and a bruised head wound. The Russian army also shelled Ingulets with artillery. A 76-year-old resident was injured as a result of the attack. She sustained explosive and craniocerebral injuries, contusion, and a head wound.

At approximately 15:00, Russian troops shelled Komyshany. As a result of the shelling, a 52-year-old man sustained explosive and craniocerebral injuries, contusion, and a shrapnel wound to his abdomen. In addition, it was reported that a 54-year-old woman who was hit by a Russian UAV on March 20 in Kachkarivka died in hospital. Doctors fought for her life to the last, but her injuries were too severe.

The day before, on March 22, the Russian military shelled 39 settlements in the Kherson region, injuring three people. This year, in February, 13 residents of Kherson were killed by Russian shelling, and another 113 people were injured of varying severity. In January 2025, 16 residents of Kherson were killed in enemy attacks, and another 154 residents were injured.
