On the afternoon of April 4, Chornomorsk in Odesa region was once again attacked by the Russian aggressor.
According to the mayor of Chornomorsk, Vasyl Gulyayev, civilian infrastructure was hit - a drone flew into the roof of a house.
Another apartment building was also damaged, with windows smashed in the apartments and cars parked nearby.
"There were no casualties. In the near future, all public utilities will join in to eliminate the consequences - cleaning the area, closing the broken windows and providing the necessary assistance to residents," said the mayor.
Meanwhile, the death toll from Russia's March 28 strike on Odesa has risen to four. On April 3, a 79-year-old resident of Odesa died in hospital; the man had been treated for his injuries, but his body failed. On March 31, Serhiy Lysak reported about another Odesa resident who was injured in the attack and was undergoing treatment. He was 76 years old.
On March 28, Russians attacked Odesa with 60 unmanned aerial vehicles. The strike killed two people on the same day. Another 14 were injured. The Russians also hit the roof of a four-story maternity hospital building without causing a fire. At the time of the attack, there were 80 people in the facility, including 33 medical workers, all of whom were in the shelter. Damage and partial destruction were reported to private and multi-storey buildings, as well as critical infrastructure facilities. The territory of the telecenter was also damaged.
According to the command of the Ukrainian Air Force, on the night of March 28, the enemy attacked with 273 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmass and other types of attack drones. Odesa region was the main target of the attack.
