Currency, cars and financial aid: what Mykolaiv MP Maksym Dyrdin declared

Mykolaiv MP Maksym Dyrdin declared ten thousand dollars in foreign currency, almost three million hryvnias, and state financial aid.

The Center for Public Investigations analyzed his declaration and found out how the politician's income level has changed.

Maksym Dyrdin became a member of the Ukrainian parliament from Mykolaiv in 2019, running as a candidate of the Servant of the People party. Previously, the MP held the position of Chief Advisor to the CEO of Santa Ukrain PJSC.

According to the declaration, the MP's salary increased during the year. While in 2023 he received UAH 774,622, this year he received UAH 880,448. The income of his wife IrynaDyrdina also increased significantly - from UAH 1.5 million to UAH 2.3 million.

In addition, the couple received social financial assistance for a child with a disability from the state in the amount of UAH 30,200, financial assistance "Winter Support" - UAH 3,000 and UAH 900 of national cashback.

The MP's family keeps 64 thousand US dollars, 45 thousand euros and 1 million 50 thousand hryvnias in cash. In banks - 1 million 905 thousand 164 hryvnias and 210 euros.

Last year, the couple' s savings amounted to 5.9 million hryvnias.

In 2022, the MP earned UAH 587 thousand, and his wife earned UAH 1.8 million. Their savings in hryvnia amounted to 2.3 million hryvnias. The MP had 40 thousand dollars and 1 thousand euros in foreign currency, and his wife had 24 thousand dollars and 15 thousand euros.

As for transportation, each of them has a car. The MP has a 2017 Nissan X-Trail worth UAH 780,357, and his wife has a 2020 Nissan Qashqai worth UAH 390,000.

In terms of real estate, the politician owns two apartments and two garages in the village of Kotsiubynske near Kyiv, and rents an office in Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv region. His wife owns a house and two apartments, also located near Kyiv. The total area of their housing is 350 square meters.

In addition, the woman owns non-residential premises and has significant land assets - 28 plots with a total area of 11.2 hectares in the suburbs of Kyiv.

A recent audit of the NACP' s declarations showed that only one of the reports contained no violations. Most of the mistakes were related to incorrect amounts. On average, 30% of officials made discrepancies of about UAH 15 million. The Center for Public Investigations reminded us which of the Mykolaiv Oblast officials tried to hide their financial reports.

A former deputy of the Mykolaiv Regional Council , Yuriy Kormyshkin , was granted bail in the amount of UAH 15 million. He is suspected of trying to legalize his wife's property. According to the investigation, in 2021-2022, she acquired assets worth more than UAH 20 million. In addition, in her declaration for 2023, she did not indicate two land plots that she used.
