Odesa plans to build a new kindergarten for 110 children. More than half a million hryvnias have already been allocated from the budget for the project development, and the construction cost is estimated at more than 156 million.

This is evidenced by data from the DREAM public investment management system.

A new modern kindergarten for 110 children will appear in the neighborhood between Marshal Govorov, Sehedska, Zooparkova, and Armiyska streets in Odesa. According to the initiators, the project is included in the Unified Project Portfolio in the field of education and has environmental certification.

According to the project description, the neighborhood is actively developing, and the existing preschools are overloaded by 70-80%. The new kindergarten will reduce the burden on infrastructure and provide quality preschool education for children in the Prymorskyi district.

The technical solution includes a reinforced concrete frame structure, finishing, utilities, and all the necessary safety and sanitary requirements.

The project budget amounts to UAH 156.3 million, of which UAH 124.6 million are capital expenditures. The project documentation was approved in 2023, and the project is currently at the stage of preparation for implementation. Back in 2023, more than half a million hryvnias were allocated from the budget for the development of design estimates.

The project was commissioned by the Capital Construction Department of the Odesa City Council, and the designer was the Odesa branch of the State Enterprise "NDIproektrekonstruktsiya". The project is currently in the status of preparation for implementation and needs funding.

Odesa region also plans to raise more than UAH 531 million to create the P-33 industrial park in the village of Borshchy, Podil district. The new facility will specialize in metalworking and the manufacture of metal products.
