Pivdenoukrainsk authorities are planning to approve the city's official brand book. Its visual identity includes a number of symbols that reflect the history and uniqueness of the region, including a falcon, sabers, an image of a city on rocks, a heart, Gard Island, a berehynia, and a church.

The relevant draft decision was published on the website of the South Ukrainian City Council.

The centerpiece of the new visual identity is the logo, designed as a heart-shaped mosaic of impressions. This image combines a number of symbols rooted in the history and geography of the area. In particular, the mosaic uses a falcon as a Cossack symbol of the sun, victory, protection and freedom, as well as crossed sabers to emphasize the region's Cossack past.

The logo also includes an image of the city itself, located on the rocky bank of the Pivdennyi Buh River above a sandy beach. The natural and spiritual aspects are represented by a schematic image of the island of Gard on the water, stylized as a 'G', as well as a recognizable local landmark - a berehynia and a church carved into the rock above the river. The main colors chosen for the brand book are amber, green and blue, symbolizing energy, nature and the river.

Earlier, Intent wrote that the court arrested an apartment and three cars from the director of the Grail utility company in Pivdenoukrainsk. He is suspected of misappropriating funds during fictitious procurement for the city community.

According to investigators, the suspect held the position of acting director of the Graale utility from October 2021 to December 2023. He was responsible for all organizational and business processes of the enterprise. The criminal proceedings were opened on September 1, 2024, on the facts of misappropriation of property and forgery of documents.

According to the investigation, in September 2022, the manager decided to misappropriate the company's funds through a fictitious purchase of pipes for heating systems. He entered into an agreement with Stilet 1 LLC, a company under his control, and indicated on the documents that the pipes were allegedly delivered to the company's warehouse. In fact, the company did not receive the goods, and the money - more than UAH 733 thousand - was transferred to the account of a company run by his friend. The suspect could have used the money for personal enrichment.
