Business development: a platform to support entrepreneurs launched in Mykolaiv

A regional platform, Dialogue between Government and Business, has been launched in Mykolaiv.The purpose of the platform is to establish cooperation between entrepreneurs and local authorities.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

The platform was created to quickly solve business problems at the local level. This initiative was launched on behalf of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and its purpose is to help entrepreneurs in each region and community through the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.

According to Vitalii Kim, head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, the format of work is both online and offline, and the platform will be based in Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

"We strive to introduce systemic changes and help businesses solve their problems at the national level," Kim said.

Oleksandr Korolev, Director of the Economic Development Department of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, added that the platform holds weekly open meetings between entrepreneurs and the authorities. During this meeting, each entrepreneur will be able to express their proposals for improving the economic climate in the region and the problems that hinder business development.

The results of these dialogues will be taken into account to make constructive decisions at the regional level," emphasized Korolev.

Volodymyr Yevseyev, Head of the Regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund, emphasized that the Dialogue between Government and Business platform is a step forward in the development of European relations with entrepreneurs, and he is confident that such cooperation will not only help business recover but also take it to a new level.

In early October, representatives of German business came to Mykolaiv to start cooperation and support local innovative projects, startups, and business incubators. The visit was organized by the German initiativeMykolaiv Water Hub, which brought together representatives of ten companies and business associations from Germany.

At the end of September, seven winners of the first regional competition for financial support for small and medium-sized businesses in the region in 2024 were selected in Mykolaiv. Each of them will receive up to UAH 200 thousand to develop and increase the production of goods, services, or works.

Also, the second"Made in Ukraine" office was opened in the region to support small and micro businesses in the region. Such offices are part of the Government's strategy to support domestic producers, in particular aimed at stimulating production, attracting investment and developing non-resource exports.
