Starting July 1, 2026, new fares for public city buses will take effect in Voznesensk. The cost of a single ride will increase to 20 hryvnias.

This was announced by the Voznesensk City Council.

The city council’s executive committee adopted the corresponding resolution on June 26.

Under the new fares, the cost of a ride will be:

The city council noted that the terms of transportation for passengers eligible for reduced fares remain unchanged.

The need to revise the fare was explained by rising costs of fuel, spare parts, bus maintenance, employee wages, and other expenses related to operating public transportation.

City officials emphasize that the fare increase is intended to ensure the stable operation of bus routes, the proper technical condition of the vehicles, and the safe transportation of passengers.

Earlier, Mykolaiv raised public transportation fares —the new fares took effect in late April and early May.

In addition, the executive committee of the Mykolaiv City Council approved a decision to set new rates for household waste management services for the municipal enterprises “Mykolaivkomtrans” and “Obriy-DKP.” The new rates will take effect on July 1, 2026.

In addition, the owners of transportation companies serving public transit routes in Odesa have agreed with the Department of Transportation, Communications, and Traffic Management to increase the fare by five hryvnias—that is, to 25 hryvnias—effective June 27.

Furthermore, the Executive Committee of the Izmail City Council in the Odesa region has approved new fares for city minibuses.

According to the document, starting July 1, 2026, the fare for a single trip on city bus routes will be 25 hryvnias. Currently, the fare is 20 hryvnias. For students of general secondary education institutions in Izmail, a discounted fare of 10 hryvnias will remain in effect throughout the calendar year. This discount can be used upon presentation of a student ID or a digital Mriya-ID document in the Mriya app.
