The High Council of Justice has dismissed Inna Murmanova, a judge of the Peresypsky District Court of Odesa, who holds a residence permit in the United Kingdom.
According to the High Council of Justice, the judge resigned of her own accord.
In her annual declaration, publishedon the website of the Unified State Register of Declarations
,Murmanova indicated that she holds a residence permit in the United Kingdom based on the right to permanent residence.
According to the declaration, her son, Volodymyr Skerlyk, a citizen of Ukraine, holds the same residence permit.
For 2025, Murmanova declared approximately 1.38 million hryvnias in income from her position at the Peresypsky District Court.
She received an additional 500,400 hryvnias as income from the sale of personal property. The source of income is listed as Kamran Ibragimov, a Ukrainian citizen.
On July 5, 2025, the judge entered into two transactions involving the sale (or exchange) of a vehicle. In one transaction, her ownership of the car was terminated. Under the other, she acquired ownership of a 2020 BMW X3 valued at 720,000 hryvnias.
The declaration also lists an apartment in Odesa with an area of 113.9 square meters, the value of which, according to the latest appraisal, is 747,400 hryvnias. The judge uses it free of charge. The owner is listed as Maria Samchuk, who is identified in the declaration as the judge’s mother.
Several judges have recently resigned in the Odesa region.
Natalia Cheban, a judge of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi City and District Court, was dismissed due to disciplinary proceedings. She had previously moved to Norway.
Alla Malomuzh, a judge of the Kyiv District Court of Odesa, resigned voluntarily. Journalists had previously uncovered an undeclared apartment she owned in Dubai, after which disciplinary proceedings were initiated against her.
Nader Limu Mahdi, the chair of the Ananyiv District Court, was removed from office by the High Council of Justice. She had previously declared a gift from her husband worth 750,000 hryvnias and purchased a Ford Mustang for the same amount.
