An interim director of the Health Center has been appointed in Odesa

Bogdan Zinchuk has been appointed acting director of the municipal institution “Odesa City Health Center.” He will hold the position until the director’s post is filled in accordance with the procedure established by law.

The corresponding order was signed by Acting Mayor Ihor Koval.

The appointment was made based on a recommendation from Olena Kolodenko, Director of the Odesa City Council’s Department of Health. 

Bogdan Andriyovych Zinchuk was born on May 7, 1998, in the city of Bolhrad, Odesa Oblast. He received his higher education at Odesa National Medical University (ONMedU), from which he graduated in 2021. After graduation, he began his residency in “Orthopedics and Traumatology” and became a member of the university’s Young Scientists Society Council.

Bogdan Zinchuk also serves as medical director of the Municipal Nonprofit Enterprise “City Clinical Hospital No. 10” of the Odesa City Council.  

The “Odesa City Health Center” is a specialized information, analytical, and coordination hub of the Odesa City Council’s Department of Health. The institution monitors public health, compiles medical statistics, and organizes preventive measures; it coordinates city-wide targeted programs, informs the public about free medical services provided through the National Health Service of Ukraine (NSZU), and oversees the organization of screenings for early disease detection at primary care facilities.
